Let's Serve

Jan 25, 2026    Pastor Ken Terry

In a culture that constantly says “it’s all about me” — my desires, my success, and my achievements — serving others often gets pushed aside. But for those who follow Christ, serving is not optional; it’s a defining mark of our faith and a true expression of our love for Him. It’s a contradiction to say, “I love Jesus,” yet refuse to serve, when He Himself knelt down and washed His disciples’ feet and told them to do the same. Jesus made His mission clear: “I did not come to be served, but to serve.” It’s easy to say we love Jesus, but 1 John 3:18 reminds us, “Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.” As Christians, we often talk about loving Jesus and explaining His love, yet sometimes we lack the willingness to show His love through action. Serving is love in motion and one of the clearest ways we reflect God’s heart to others. Join us this Sunday for a special message: Let’s Serve.
